Marked

I have a new book coming out on Interior Noise Press. Some of these will be submitted for it, others will not. Laying on a pile of poems and  just posting them as I feel it. So, to read the poems that won't be on here...you have to buy the book! I'll let you know when its coming out, shouldn't be till later this year which gives me plenty of stuff to post stuff, and stash stuff, to make an incredible book.

Welcome back to my poetry blog! I did absolutely nothing today and it was wonderful. Always crisis and lots of work to do in my Mental Health Group on Google. I love my group. Started it maybe a month and a half ago and we already have 203 members, and the members are really great.

Today it's going to be a short poem because I ran across this one in my files and really dug it. It's great when you find and old poem you wrote that you had forgotten about and just love it.

This poem was originally posted in my chapbook: Bleeding from my Psalms on Hand Print Press, UK it was printed on hand made paper!

It will be coming out on my forthcoming book on Interior Noise Press.

Marked

Bruises were strangled out
of the laughing moon
like a halo
that had lost its post

Texas twisters today
flooding
locusts

It's the first time the sky
has flashed it's baby blues at  me

Since the last time
the world stopped breathing.
